Getting started with the Fakturnaut app

Create an account, confirm your e-mail, enter company details and the number series: the app is ready in minutes.

Create an account

1. Open the sign-up for the app.
2. Enter Company, E-mail address and Password. The password has at least 12 characters.
3. Accept the terms and the data processing agreement and send the form.

You start with App Free. You need no payment details for it.

Confirm your e-mail address

We send you an e-mail with a confirmation link. The account is active only after you click the link. If no e-mail arrives, please look in your spam folder.

Enter your company's details

1. Open Settings.
2. Under Your company, fill in the name, address, VAT ID or tax number and the bank account. These details appear on every invoice.
3. Confirm: I am authorised to issue invoices for this company.
4. Choose Save.

Set up the number series

1. Under Invoice numbers, enter a Prefix, for example RE-2026-.
2. Enter the Next number, for example 1.
3. If you like, choose the Digits of the running number, for example 4 for RE-2026-0001.
4. Choose Save number series.

Within a prefix the number never goes back. That keeps the sequence complete and unique.

Protect your account

Under Account and data, switch on Two-factor login. Signing in then needs a code from an authenticator app as well as the password. More under Account and data.
